RESEARCH INTERESTS

In order to understand novel facets of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) response biology, I aim to find the major genetic mechanisms that regulate Mtb-induced cytokine expression in human monocytes and macrophages. I can then hopefully use these identified mechanisms to modulate the host response in ways that impact Mtb infection.
