RESEARCH INTERESTS

My project looks to define the molecular mechanism of ESX-5 mediated immune subversion during MTB infection of macrophages. Using genetic and proteomic approaches, I aim to identify which bacterial virulence factors are interacting with host pathways to result in immune subversion phenotypes.
