RESEARCH INTERESTS

As a Pathobiology student, I am focusing on the critical examination of B cell responses to innovative HIV-1 vaccine strategies using native-like trimers. My research utilizes Next-Generation Sequencing to dissect the nuances of B-cell receptor repertoires in Rhesus macaques, aiming to uncover the impacts of vaccination parameters on B-cell maturation and antibody functionality. Through analyzing cryopreserved samples from a longitudinal study, my work seeks to identify molecular signatures within the B-cell repertoire that correlate with effective vaccine-induced immune responses.
