Q: Please tell us about yourself. What is your background in global health?

A: I am interested in health policy, systems strengthening, and their interaction with global affairs. Before coming to UW in 2018, I lived in Shanghai, China where I worked at Fudan University on research topics such as China’s global health diplomacy and medical education. 

Q: What research are you doing as a Research Assistant (RA)?

A: I am currently working with Dr. Stephen Gloyd on monitoring and evaluating the performance of more than 200 health facilities that are part of the PEPFAR HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment program in Côte d’Ivoire at Health Alliance International.
