The annual Global Health Career Week, hosted by the Department of Global Health, connects students of all levels to organizations, professionals, and opportunities in the field of public health. The line-up includes a virtual Alumni Conversation and Social Media Training, along with panels for PhD and undergraduate students planning to pursue careers in public health.

The event will take place between May 10-14, 2021. For the second year in a row, all sessions will be held online. Information about each session, including links to register, can be found below. We hope to see you there!

Alumni of DGH programs will discuss their experience in their cohort, share gems they wish they had known as students and also provide tips on work/life balance, job searching, networking and more.

Building an Academic Career in Global Health

In this session, panelists will discuss their decision to pursue an academic career; how they navigate the higher education system to pursue their research, teaching, and service work; and working with collaborators, students, staff, and colleagues. Current doctoral students and students interested in pursuing an academic career in global health or public health are welcome. There will be time for questions and discussion.
