IMPACTA PERU Clinical Trials Unit (CTU)

The overarching goal of this US NIH/NIAID funded clinical trials unit is to contribute to the design and implementation of the scientific agenda of the Division of AIDS research networks, across the continuum from prevention to treatment, to decrease new HIV infections, reduce HIV associated morbidity and mortality, and ultimately end the HIV epidemic. By establishing a comprehensive infrastructure and resources able to support the implementation of clinical research studies, rapidly respond to evolving research opportunities


Dr. Lama is Investigator, Site Leader of the San Miguel 11302 Clinical Research Site and Director of HIV Prevention Intervention Studies at the IMPACTA PERU Clinical Trials Unit.
