Evaluation of the Impact of a Pharmacy Assistant Training and Deployment Program on Under-5 Mortality in Malawi

This is a prospective impact and economic evaluation of a program of pharmacy assistant training and deployment in Malawi. The pharmacy assistant training program aims to improve supply chain management and access to essential medicines for malaria, pneumonia, and diarrhea. The impact of the program on under-5 mortality and economic outcomes will be estimated using modeling methods. Funding is provided by the Barr Foundation through 2016.
