Advancing Sustainable Implementation of Comprehensive HIV/TB Services for Epidemic Control in the Republic of Mozambique

I-TECH is working with the Mozambique Ministry of Health to strengthen and improve its capacity to deliver quality treatment for children with advanced HIV disease (AHD) at the national and provincial levels. I-TECH will implement pediatric AHD trainings in 11 provinces, followed by supportive supervision and mentoring visits. I-TECH will continue to participate in national level Technical Working Groups (TWGs) to support the implementation and expansion of the AHD package for children, including the finalization of the national guidelines, training package and a monitoring and evaluation plan. I-TECH is also working in collaboration with other implementing partners to improve the Ministry of Health’s capacity to develop and implement its COVID-19 case management strategy.
