Impact of COVID-19 on Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) Wellbeing

We use national and local data to examine the health, mental health and economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the NHPI population nationally and in WA State. Locally, we work with the Pacific Islander Community Association and the NHPI COVID-19 Task Force. Nationally, we collaborate with the Indigenous Wellness Research Institute (IWRI) to examine both strengths and challenges due to the pandemic. Funding is provided through the Population Health COVID-19 Initiative and IWRI.
