Understanding the role of schools in supporting HIV treatment outcomes among HIV infected adolescents (TIMIZA)
This is a mixed-methods study project to generate data on contributions of the school environment to HIV treatment outcomes and propose school based interventions to improve outcomes for school going HIV positive adolescents. Primary collaborators are mentors at UW, Kenyatta National Hospital and the University of Nairobi. Funding is provided through an NIH K43 career development award through 2024.
