Functional genomics for Chlamydia

The major goals of this project are to define the Chlamydia genes that are critical for mediating this bacterium’s ability to infect cells, and also to establish acute and severe infections in a murine female genital tract infection model. Funding is provided through an NIH R01 through 2021.
