Partners 4 Equality : Building Youth Leadership for Changing Gendered Social Norms and Narratives in across 10 states in India

This project will be carried out through a process of training, mentoring and networking of 10,000 male gender champions or Samanta Sathi’s over three years across 10 states. These individuals will be spearheading changes in gender discriminatory social norms in the family, community and in other institutions. This process will include ICT based methods reinforced by face-to-face methods for capacity building, mentoring and networking on an ongoing and iterative process. This is expected to change women’s reproductive health status and experience of violence and discrimination.
