Improving Cote d’Ivoire’s Public Health Laboratory System

I-TECH’s laboratory systems strengthening and informatics teams (Lucy Perrone, PI) was awarded a five-year Cooperative agreement from the CDC to improve Cote d’Ivoire’s public health laboratory system. This project will focus on strengthening laboratory leadership and quality management system and laboratory information systems. I-TECH and partner Bloodworks Northwest will collaborate with the Ministry of Health and other partners to develop and update national laboratory policies and procedures, improve training programs for laboratory staff, implement laboratory testing quality and support expanded use of laboratory information systems and their data. I-TECH has worked in Cote d’Ivoire since 2009 to support development, implementation, and use of digital laboratory information systems at over 55 laboratories throughout the country
