Improving the Quality, Safety, and Productivity of the National Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) Program
The purpose of this project is to assist MOH and Implementing Partners (IPs) to improve the quality, safety, and productivity of the national VMMC program. Since October 2014, I-TECH has been supporting the MOH’s VMMC Program in the area of Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement (QA&QI), with the goal of ensuring that VMMC activities are being implemented and monitored according to globally-recognized best practices. In January 2016, CDC requested that I-TECH support the MOH and IPs in VMMC Demand Creation activities planning and monitoring at the district level.
Program Objectives:
- Provide TA for conducting External Quality Assessments (EQAs) and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) site level visits to conduct External Quality Assessment and to assist sites in the development of site specific quality improvement action plan.
- Perform CQI site visits to assist with the development, implementation, monitoring/follow up and evaluation of targeted performance improvement plans based on EQA findings, through short PDSA cycles.
This is an ongoing project.
