Determinants of outcome and recurrent infections in melioidosis

This multisite study of melioidosis investigates immunologic determinants of outcome in melioidosis, creates a highly phenotyped cohort for future studies, and bolsters Thai research capacity. The study involves investigators from Mahidol University, Khon Kaen University, Benaroya Research Institute, University of British Columbia, Udon Thani Hospital, Srinagarind Hospital, Khon Kaen Hospital, and Nakhom Phanom Hospital. Funding is provided by NIAID.
