Mobile Phone Technology to Improve Maternal Health Outcomes in Timor-Leste

Health Alliance International has successfully piloted Timor-Leste’s first mHealth program, Liga Inan (“Connecting Mothers”), and is preparing for scale-up to further districts in the coming years.  This program provides pregnant women with health-related SMS messages and assists midwives in maintaining contact with their patients throughout pregnancy.
