Biography 

Will is the Counseling Services Coordinator for the department of Global Health. As an academic advisor, Will works with both Masters of Global Health (MPH) students as well as Global Health Undergraduate minors at the UW.

A Southern California native, Will received his BA degree in Sociology from Cal Poly Pomona then relocated to Seattle to pursue an MA in Sociology. His research interests centered on immigration and immigration policy, specifically focusing on how city-level legislation impacted social mobility for immigrant and BIPOC communities. Having worked in higher education for over 5 years, Will is a passionate ally in emboldening and empowering students to embrace the opportunities provided by the university in order to attain the best education possible.

In his free time, Will enjoys urban photography, cooking, biking, wandering around Seattle with his fiancée, and taking care of his numerous plant children.
