- Data Manager, Global WACh
Mareme works as a data manager in the Gut Health and Child Survival group within Global WACh. As a data manager she works on several studies within the group including Toto Bora and HMO studies. She holds a B.S. in Health Science from Saint Mary’s College of CA, and a Master of Public Health in Global Health from University of Washington. Prior to her current position, Mareme worked as a research assistant (RA) with Dr. Donna Denno on the Minimally Invasive Tissue Sampling (MITS) in the Childhood Acute Illness and Nutrition Network (CHAIN) and on the Environmental Enteric Dysfunction (EED) study. She also worked on data management in various Global WACh studies including CHAIN, the Mama Aweza trial and the Toto Bora trial as an RA. Outside of work Mareme enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and baking.
