Laurén is a Research Coordinator in the Department of Global Health. She first joined the Department as a work-study student assistant for the Kenya Research and Training Center (KRTC) and has supported a number of maternal and child health studies within the Kenya Pediatrics Studies group, including the PUSH, INK, HAP, PHM, OPHX, and CATCH studies. She is currently working as a Research Coordinator for Global WACh’s PrIMA study, a cluster RCT evaluating two methods for PrEP delivery in pregnancy. Laurén earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Seattle University and an MPH from the University of Washington. She is currently pursuing entry to medical school.
