Biography 

Donna Denno, MD, MPH is a pediatrician and a Professor of Pediatrics in the University of Washington School of Medicine with a Joint appointment in the Department of Global Health and Adjunct appointment in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health in the School of Public Health. Her clinical, teaching, advocacy and research career has been dedicated to reducing health care and health disparities among under-resourced communities, both domestically and globally. Dr. Denno teaches GH/HSERV 544 MCH in LMICs. Her research interests include the intertwining roles of gastrointestinal infections, enteric dysfunction, and malnutrition on child survival and health, as well as health services approaches to improving child and adolescent health.
