Aleisha is helping to build and develop the Global Cardiovascular Health Program, including its start up and expansion encompassing both research and engagement. She oversees communications, event coordination, logistics and budgets. Her background includes living and working in South Africa and Zambia where she’s worked on HIV, TB and rural HSS programs. Her concentration in Complex Emergencies led her to help grow partnerships and expand the Community Tracing Collaborative, the State of Massachusetts’ COVID response program, with Partners in Health. She holds an MPH in International Health and Development from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a BS in Neuroscience from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Aleisha recently moved to Seattle from Livingstone, Zambia and is enjoying the many outdoor activities surrounded by bodies of water and mountainous backgrounds that Washington has to offer.
