What is your background in public health/global health?

Infectious disease surveillance and outbreak response across sub-Saharan Africa 

Why did you choose to get your MPH in global health at the UW?

UW has an immense pool of knowledge in global health with projects being implemented across the world. It offered me the opportunity to advance my skills. 

What has the cohort experience been like for you?

It has been an amazing cohort with vast global health experience. 

What do you enjoy most about Seattle?

Water activities, hiking, and photography 

What advice do you have for students interested in applying to the program?

It is an amazing program integrating graduate experiences from across the world. The learning environment is very supportive and there are a variety of elective courses you can choose from to improve your knowledge and skills.
