The Department of Global Health is

honored to welcome 38 new students to

the Global Health Husky Pack.

Congratulations to three of our DGH graduates for receiving various UW awards!

DGH celebrates the distinguished endowment of two faculty members,

Dr. Kenneth Mugwanya, associate professor, and Julianne Meisner, assistant professor.

Each June, UW recognizes its faculty stars with the 

Distinguished Teacher Award, the UW's highest teaching

honor. DGH's Jason Daniel-Ulloa was recognized this year 

for his exemplary teaching style and mentorship to students.

King K. Holmes, the founding Chair of the Department

of Global Health, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
