With your generous donation, we can extend much-needed support to broaden student diversity within the Department of Global Health. Please consider making a year-end gift to the Endowed Fellowship for Global Health Excellence, Equity and Impact. All gifts will be matched 1:1 by an anonymous donor - and if your gift is large enough - by the University of Washington (UW) as well.

Any gift you make to this fund, in any dollar amount, regardless of who you are, will receive a 1:1 match from a donor. Additionally if you make a gift of $10,000 or more as a UW Faculty, Staff or Retiree (FSR), your gift will qualify for a 50% match from the UW through the FSR Matching Campaign for Students, thereby achieving a 150% match!

The deadline to take advantage of this chance to expand opportunities and education for students is Feb. 7, 2017. The donor matching pool is $90,000 and will be applied on a first-come, first-served basis; the UW matching pool for gifts over $10,000 is $5M. Each matching opportunity will end when their respective pool is depleted.

Giving can be done online or by mail. To make a donation by mail, send a check to University of Washington Foundation, Box 357230, Seattle, WA 98195. Checks should be made out to the University of Washington.  Please write the fund name (Endowed Fellowship for Global Health Excellence, Equity and Impact) on the memo line of the check or in a brief cover note. For questions, contact Megan Ingram at or (206) 616-7197.

The purpose of this fellowship is to provide financial assistance to students in the Department of Global Health.  It is the donors’ preference that this fellowship be awarded to students who have a deep personal experience with, and connection to, diverse cultures and who have demonstrated a commitment to promoting diversity within the field of Global Health. We hope you will consider a gift to support the future leaders and pioneers of Global Health at UW. Make your gift today.
