Using Molecular and Geographic Clustering to Identify and End TB Chains of Transmission in an Urban Slum: Nima, Ghana

By using molecular clustering to identify recent transmission chains, and spatial clustering to identify hotspots, we are identifying the epidemiology of TB in an urban slum, and, in cooperation with the Ghana Health Service and Ghana Ministry of Health, we are attempting to reduce TB transmission by interrupting transmission chains early through targeted contact tracing.
