Climate Change and Health Assessment (Mozambique) – Health Specialist. Adaptation Thought Leadership and Assessments (ATLAS) Project

The goal of this project is to develop a methodology that evaluates climate variability and climate change risks to the health sector, identify hotspots of current and projected future risk.  Analysis will be performed on the associations between weather patterns and priority health outcomes in Mozambique. Geographic “hot spots” for climate impacts on human health will be identified, including vulnerability parameters as well as economic and/or human costs. Funding is through a contract with Chemonics, which is contracted with USAID.
