Reducing Failure-to-Initiate Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) among People Who Inject Drugs (PWID): The Integrated Methadone and Antiretroviral Therapy (IMAT) Strategy

Description: This research study, funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, develops, implements, and examines the effectiveness and feasibility of the IMAT strategy to improve ART initiation among methadone clients in Tanzania, thereby revolutionizing ART delivery for PWID by streamlining services and bringing the sequence of events needed to initiate ART to the patient.
