Dr. Kotsakis’ research interests lie in epidemiological aspects of oral and other non-communicable diseases with a special focus on the complex interactions between diet, aging and systemic inflammatory burden. His research program is currently funded to develop population level health metrics to assess the burden of these diseases and conditions.
