About GHRC

The Global Health Resource Center, run by Daren Wade, MSW, two staff members, and student assistants is the University’s hub for global health-related activities.

The center manages the department's funding and fieldwork opportunities, provides career advice and information referral, and develops tools to disseminate information about global health activities both here and abroad. The center also coordinates several events, including activities with the Washington Global Health Alliance, such as its monthly Discovery lecture series and organizes biennially the Western Regional International Health Conference.

The GHRC Advisory Board, with faculty, staff, and student members from across campus, is bringing together all disciplines as a networking and UW community resource -- helping to inform the university and the community about global health resources.
