Our Work
Engaging the Interdisciplinary Community
Who We Are
The Global Health Resource Center (GHRC), run by Daren Wade, MSW, two staff members, and student assistants is the University’s hub for global health-related activities.
What We Do
Coordinate, Connect, and Catalyze
The center manages the Department's funding and fieldwork opportunities, provides career advice and information referral, and develops tools to disseminate information about global health activities both here and abroad.
The center also coordinates several events, including activities with the Washington Global Health Alliance, such as its monthly lecture series and organizes the Western Regional International Health Conference. Please visit our Global Health Calendar for a complete listing.
If you would like to schedule an event or post an event, please contact the Global Health Resource Center at ghrc@uw.edu or 206.685.7362.
The Global Health Resource Center organizes the Western Regional International Health Conference every two years.
Seattle AIDS Walk
GHRC organized a team at UW for the Seattle AIDS Walk to raise money for Lifelong AIDS Alliance.
