Daren Wade, MSW, serves as Director of the Global Health Resource Center working with staff to provide administrative support for Department fieldwork and funding opportunities; organizing events and conferences; and to providing information and referral about global health and global health careers. Daren received his MSW at the University of Pennsylvania concentrating in Health and work with communities, organizations and administration. Daren has over 20 years experience in international education, multicultural education and student services at American Friends Service Committee, Hosteling International, University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, Reed College and the University of Washington. At Voyage House in Philadelphia Daren developed lgbt youth services and was a foster care social worker for Lutheran Children and Family Services, where he developed foster care program and trainings working with lgbt youth. Daren began his international education career, teaching English as a Second Language and continued that career as the coordinator for the UW School of Public Health's Multidisciplinary International Research Training Program in the School of Public Health.
